It’s no secret that Tiki Barber understood the meaning of “stress” during his football career. You trying to be a star running back playing in New York! Who could possibly relate? Well, there is one answer: his twin brother Ronde! After all, Ronde quietly put together a Hall of Fame career down in Tampa and picked up a Super Bowl ring along the way.

So who handled stress in certain situations: Tiki or Ronde?
More likely to take a loss harder: “I think Ronde. He was a perfectionist. I was kind of the guy who would look at what I did wrong, figure out how to fix it, and then get on to the next game. But Ronde wanted to be perfect all the time. It’s why he played for 16 years, and quite frankly, why he’s a Hall of Famer.”
More likely to rewatch their own highlights or toughest losses: “Oh, it’s definitely Ronde. Not even a question. I had two really bad losses in my career. One in the 2000 season, when we went to the Super Bowl against the Baltimore Ravens. They kicked our butt. I have never seen a replay.
And then a few years later, we were playing the San Francisco 49ers in a wild-card game out in San Francisco. But we had a 24-point lead in the second half, and they came back and beat us, and all people want to talk about is that game. It was one of the worst playoff losses in NFL history. I’ve never rewatched it, and I never will.”
More likely to be late to plans: “That’s definitely me. Ronde’s a professional. He’s a golfer. And so when you’re a golfer, you get to the course on time. I’m one of those guys who’s like, ‘It’ll be fine once I get there.’ Yeah, even if I’m late, you know, once I show up, it’ll be good. I’ll smile, and everybody will be happy.”
