On Friday, we listed the new McLaren 570GT MSO Black Collection as one of the 14 Things We Want last week. Unfortunately, we don’t currently have an extra $250,000 lying around, but that doesn’t mean that we won’t EVER have that kind of money (we won’t) to blow on a supercar. Dare to dream, even if it’s 99.99999 percent unlikely to ever happen I always say. Catchy, huh?

Anyhoo, the McLaren 570GT MSO Black Collection supercar is the kind of car I would imagine Bruce Wayne tooling around Gotham City in when he makes one of his rare ventures out of Wayne Manor and the Batcave. Let’s take a closer look, shall we? We shall.

McLaren Special Operations, who creates one amazing vehicle after another, revealed the latest automotive monster they will be unleashing on the world in the form of a new all-black 570GT that will, as always, be a limited edition. This time they are only making 100 of this particular model.

Here’s how McLaren describes what makes this version of the 570GT special…

“The exterior of the vehicle is finished in Carbon Black. The stealth theme extends to the MSO Defined Black Pack replacing standard-fit Dark Palladium components including front and rear splitters, side skirts and air intakes with black. Completing the look are the 5 Twin-Spoke Lightweight Forged Wheels with a new Gloss Black Diamond Wheel Finish shed with Pirelli P Zero™ Corsa Tyres and Black Brake Calipers with Carbon Ceramic Brakes.”

“The luxuriously-appointed interior of the McLaren 570GT is further enhanced with new MSO Black Collection Trim, which includes a unique combination of Jet Black Leather with Carbon Black Alcantara® accents on the centre tunnel, lower instrument panel, headliner, steering wheel and speaker surrounds. The Electric and Heated Memory Sports Seats are wrapped in Semi-Aniline Leather featuring unique MSO logo embroidery on the headrests. The high attention to detail continues with an MSO Defined Ignition Key painted in Carbon Black and a bespoke Dedication Plate located under the centre console. A Panoramic Roof incorporating a UV-filtering black privacy tint glass is standard and can be upgraded at additional cost to the MSO Defined Electrochromic Panoramic Roof that was recently introduced to the MSO Defined range for the 570GT only.”

In other words, this new version of the 570GT will be really, really, REALLY black.

Like I said…

As for the rest of the car, it will go from 0 to 100km/h (62mph) 3.4 seconds, and 0 to 200km/h (124mph) in 9.8 seconds, and will hit a maximum speed of 204mph using its 3,799cc V8 Twin Turbo engine which produces 562hp and 443lb-ft of torque. Ho hum… just your average everyday supercar.

No big deal.
