The RM 11-03 McLaren Automatic Flyback Chronograph was prominently displayed at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show because it has the spirit of British supercar manufacturer. McLaren collaborated with ultra-luxury Swiss watchmaker Richard Mille to create this uber-premium timepiece. And just like a McLaren, the speedster-themed watch comes at a top-of-the-line price. This high-end watch has an extraordinary price tag of around $190,000.
The partnership of the two top-notch and high-performance companies has given the world this high-end watch. The RM 11-03 McLaren Automatic Flyback Chronograph is modeled after McLaren in numerous ways. The watch features Orange Quartz which gives it the color orange (McLaren’s signature color), the complex grade 5 titanium crown is shaped like a McLaren wheel, the titanium pushers are similar to the headlights of the McLaren 720S, the titanium inserts are modeled after the McLaren F1’s air-intake snorkel. The McLaren logo is located on the bezel at 6 0’clock. The watch’s case is made of the lightweight yet durable Carbon Fiber Thin Ply Technology (TPT) just like a McLaren automobile.
The timepiece provides the time, 12-hour chronograph, countdown counters, date, and an annual calendar. It also features Richard Mille’s automatic RMAC3 caliber mechanism and a 55-hour power reserve. The watch is made for the McLaren owner who is already loaded because the RM 11-03 McLaren Automatic Flyback Chronograph costs $191,500. Only 500 of the limited watches will be made.
