Starting Today For One Week Only, Microsoft Cuts Xbox One S Price By $50

There has been a lot of exciting news to come out of E3 2017 already. While most of it has been on upcoming games, we get a wallet-friendly announcement from Microsoft about a week-long sale that lasts until June 17.

Starting on Sunday, Microsoft is cutting the price on select Xbox One S by $50. This brings the cost of a new Xbox One S to just $249 for 500GB bundles and $299 for 1TB options. However, you have to act fast because this discount will only be for one week only. The discount only applies to select Xbox One S models, such as the Battlefield 1 500GB bundle and the 1TB Forza Horizon 3 bundle.

The markdown comes on the heels of Project Scorpio debuting. Microsoft is planning to unveil Project Scorpio at 5PM ET on Sunday during its E3 press conference. Scorpio will be made for “that premium customer, the gamer that expects the absolute best versions of the games,” said Microsoft’s Mike Ybarra, corporate vice president of the Xbox and Windows gaming platform at Microsoft.
