Did you ever just want to pack your stuff into the car and just drive and drive and drive and simply enjoy what a beautiful place the world is? Nissan’s new e-NV200 and NV300 camper van concepts were built exactly for that kind of adventure. These compact camper vans are sneakily spacious inside and offer everything you need for that epic road trip.
At the Madrid Motor Show in Spain this week, Nissan unveiled their two-tone NV300 model and the all-electric e-NV200 camper van. These intelligently formulated interiors designed by Spain’s Bram Technologies maximize every inch of space. The larger, gas-powered NV300 model boasts a pop-up roof in addition to the folding-seat bed. The retro and functional interior features folding rear bench, swivel front seats, standing height interior, kitchen block, pantry, stove, sink, refrigerator, freezer, and a removable dining table that fastens to the kitchen block. There are floor rails so you can position the rear bench where it makes sense for you.
There is interior heating, gas, and water systems. There’s also an optional Webasto heater and an optional 140-W solar panel. The electrical system utilizes an AGM battery and supports 12V outlets and USB ports. The NV300 and NV200 will only be made available in Spain as of right now, and the NV300 has a 1.6-liter turbo diesel.
Nissan’s description of the e-NV200/NV200 only mentioned a folding-seat bed, cabin heating, and window shades. Bram offers a “Weekender” sleeper package and a “Pacific” full camper which includes a kitchen for the e-NV200. The e-NV200 has a 40 kWh battery pack and has a range of approximately 124 miles, plenty of juice to make great time on your road trip without having to stop to fuel up and have zero emissions. Hopefully, these awesome-looking camper vans come to the states so we can tour this picturesque country and do so with a long-lasting electric battery.
