The all-new REVL Arc Action Camera just hit the market last week. Over the years, a lot of competitors have come along purporting to be a ‘GoPro Killer’ and fallen short, but that was then and this waterproof and shockproof action camera is the future of homegrown action sports. Don’t believe me? Check out the clip below from the Eclectical Engineering YouTube channel where they fire the REVL Arc from a rocket launcher to test out the automatic image stabilization features.

The REVL Arc Action Camera has built-in stabilization technology, a gimbal (pivoted support system) built into the back of the camera that always keeps the camera/image level on the horizon. It also has electronic image stabilization to reduce and eliminate any bumps and shakes while filming. If you’ve ever tried to film while wakeboarding or snowboarding then you know how game-changing this feature on the REVL Arc is.

Above, I mentioned that the bros from the Eclectical Engineering YouTube channel got their hands on a REVL Arc (Buy Here) to fire it from a homemade rocket launcher in a test of the image stabilization features. Here’s that hardcore test of this incredible piece of modern technology:

The camera films in 4K at 30FPS (also films at 2.7K, 1440p, 1080p, and 720p), has GPS tracking, takes 12MP pictures, and is completely waterproof up to 33 feet. The REVL Arc smartphone app might actually be the coolest feature of this camera. I actually got hands-on with the REVL Arc recently and you can edit and film video straight from your smartphone. You can pick/choose which clips to save and delete. You can livestream, get playback motion data, and you can upload to Facebook direct from the app. The artificial intelligence in the app automatically edits the video and pulls suggested moments for you to highlight.

I’m not trying to throw up a sign that says ‘YOU NEED TO BUY THIS NOW’ but I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t tell you that you can save $100 if you buy this camera before midnight tonight as their Cyber Monday deal is still active at the moment.
