The golf club marketplace can be overwhelming and intimidating, especially for beginners and even for casual golfers just looking to have a good time.

Stix Golf Clubs Review From A Serious Golfer
Before we jump into the review, you should know that I am not a beginner or a casual golfer. I’ve played golf my entire life, I’m a four handicap, and I play with more ‘player style’ irons.
So, as someone who plays golf a couple of times per week and has swung an endless amount of clubs over the years, I hope you will trust me when I say Stix golf clubs are fantastic.
Stix was gracious enough to send over a full 14-club set. I’ll break down the review down into three different club categories and share what I loved about each.
Stix Wedges
The first thing that jumps out at you on all of Stix clubs is the durable, all-black finish. The clubs immediately catch your eye, and in a very good way. This is especially true with the wedges, the clean lines and minimalist appearance would instill confidence into anyone that picks them up.
As for the performance, I hit shots from around the green and from the bunker, and the feel compared to my big-name brand wedges was uncanny. The wedges over a great aesthetic and a great feel for shots around the green.
Stix Irons
Again, from a looks standpoint, the irons are unbelievably good. They don’t look like your normal set of irons you’d find in any other full-set of clubs being sold on the market. The irons certainly fall into the more forgiving category, but they don’t have that appearance of an oversized shovel you’re going to clunk into the grass.

What I appreciated most about the Stix irons was that they aren’t just your typical beginner iron design where they’re oversized and the manufacturer just threw a big chunk of metal on the back for forgiveness. Instead, you don’t see a lot of the back of the iron at address, and the line on the top isn’t too thick either. You’re getting a more player-look iron with plenty of forgiveness here and not losing anything from a looks standpoint, which every golfer on the planet can appreciate.
The irons are just big enough to give a beginner golfer all the confidence in the world and a more experienced player the feel and shape they can pull off any shot.
Stix Driver And Woods
Drivers and fairway woods are every beginner and casual golfer’s favorite clubs in the bag. They’re the easiest clubs to hit and they go the furthest; everyone loves hitting the long ball.
With everyone’s focus immediately going to the driver, Stix has plenty of boxes to check in this department and they pretty much check them all.
The minimalist design carries over into the woods giving players a smooth transition throughout the golf bag. All three woods – the hybrid, 3-wood, and driver – all have just enough offset to give less experienced players more confidence to square up to the ball, but not too much where it would throw an experienced player off.

While I lost a bit of distance with the Stix woods compared to the woods I currently game, I was able to hit these unbelievably straight. This may be a sign I need to change something in my current club setup.
I was able to send shots on a frozen rope with all three woods, especially the driver, which is always a great feeling.

Stix gives you the option to buy sets of 14 clubs 11 clubs, or nine clubs.
The full 14-club set includes a driver, a 3-wood, a 5-wood, a 4-hybrid, 5-iron through pitching wedge, a gap wedge, sand wedge, and lob wedge, plus a putter. Stix also offers the option to purchase just iron sets, wedge sets, and single clubs as well.
When it comes to the customization you simply select whether you’re right or left-handed, whether you want a regular, a-flex, or stiff flex graphite shaft, and your height range which could alter the length of each club. It’s as simple as that.
