The limited-edition Knob Creek 15-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon might be hard to find this Summer but the juice is worth the squeeze if you can track it down. This 15-year-old pre-prohibition style bourbon is Knob Creek’s most mature age statement to-date. This is a full-bodied bourbon that is best sipped straight or with an ice cube. You could mix it in a cocktail if you were so inclined but with this expression I’d recommend the former to the latter.
The Knob Creek 15-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon checks in at 100-proof and as you can see above it has a rich gold and bronze color. The aroma is a ‘strong caramelized oak’ with hints of vanilla, ripe fruit, and baking spices. What I found most pleasing about this 15-year-old Knob Creek is how smooth it goes down and how I could feel the warmth start on my tongue and move deep down into my belly. It’s exquisite.

The all-new George Dickel Bottled in Bond is an 11-year-old expression that was bottled back in the Fall of 2008. It has a mash bill of 84% corn, 8% rye and 8% malted barley and like all George Dickel whiskey, it is charcoal mellowed to give it that signature smooth mouthfeel.
One of my favorite parts aboout this release from George Dickel is the price point, only $39.99 (suggested). It has notes of pecan, dried apple, and delicious maple syrup. It’s suggested this be drank any way you like it (neat, on the rocks, or mixed). That’s really the thing more people need to learn about whiskey, the best way to drink it is whatever way you prefer. If you like whisky on the rocks then chill it down. If you prefer it neat then drink it that way. It’s your choice, and this is one that you’re going to love this Summer.
Gearing Up For Boat Days
These Everglades Fishing Co. Deck Boots in Grey Digi Camo are an item I’ve wanted to feature for a while because they are simply the best rugged deck boots on the market. They are designed by fishermen for fishermen.

Summer Accessories We Need Right Now
I’m loving this Polo and I had to share it with you gentlemen. Cuts Clothing describes their t-shirts as the ‘only shirt worth wearing’ and they’ve taken their same anti-wrinkle Pyca fabric to creat the Cuts Clothing Polo w/ Curve Hem. When Vans got its start back in 1966 they took orders for shoes and released them that same day.
