There are a ton of absolutely amazing cars going to be on display at the 2018 New York International Auto Show when it opens to the public on Friday, March 30th. But this 1,100 HP Trans Am 455 Super Duty might be the most badass car of them all.
Note, I didn’t say fastest, or sleekest, or most technologically advanced. I said most BADASS.
I mean, it’s like the folks over at Trans Am Depot took Burt Reynolds’ classic 1977 Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am and injected it with some serious performance-enhancing drugs. I mean, just look at it!
Better yet, LISTEN TO IT.
Oh my. That’s what 1,118 horsepower and 1,140 lb-ft of torque sounds like, thanks to Trans Am Worldwide’s proprietorial engineered 455ci (7.4-liter) DI V-8 engine, a 2.3 liter Magnuson TVS2300 supercharger, a cold air intake, ceramic coated headers and a three-inch exhaust.
Insane. And BADASS.
Oh by the way, these Trans Ams? They’re Burt Reynolds approved. ‘Nuff said.
