Forget Trump And Hillary, My Vote Goes To This Gorgeous Cosplayer Running For Office In Arizona (10 Pics)
Are you not happy with your options in politics in 2016? Does the thought of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump being the President of the United States make you want to take a one-way trip to Ceres? Well, maybe you could move to the slightly more habitable environment of Arizona and vote for Cara Nicole Trujillo, a cosplayer who is running for office.
The captivating Cara Nicole Trujillo usually spends her days creating elaborate costumes and transforming herself into characters such as Harley Quinn, Rogue, Psylocke, Supergirl, Wonder Woman and Domino. Now the buxotic cosplayer will switch her focus from making nerds cream their SpiderMan underoos to politics.
The tantalizing Trujillo AKA Az Powergirl is officially running for the Arizona Legislature as a Green Party candidate. She will appear on this November’s ballot, the same ballot as the next President of the United States.
“I am going to show everyone that I am a serious candidate I will need as much support as I can get,” Cara said.
Trujillo, who is the best politician I’ve ever seen, states that she has collected all the necessary signatures to run in the upcoming election cycle.
Her political aspirations will not stop her from making her regular appearance at Phoenix Comicon this year. However, she will be passing out campaign buttons and asking for donations for her first bid for public office.
When asked if her seductive cosplay career would be a hindrance in becoming a politician she told the Phoenix New Times, “This is my job. People will try to use it against me. If I dress up in a suit, people would say I’m a fraud.”
Many are excited about the gorgeous Cara running for office. “I’m glad people are deciding they want to get more involved, and I want to give people the opportunity to choose something more outside the red-and-blue party system.”
Cara said if she won, she’d wear appropriate clothing while legislating in the Capitol.
Cara is the first politician I can get behind.
