Remember Michael Jordan’s Daughter In ‘Space Jam’? Here’s What She’s Been Doing And Looks Like Now

2016 will mark the 20th anniversary of Michael Jordan’s greatest acting role in the movie Space Jam. So with rumors of a sequel being in the works as well as Blake Griffin hooking up with Marvin the Martian for a commercial nostalgia is for the film is reaching an all time high.

Which is why the folks over at Huffington Post decided to check in on the youngest member of the cast, Penny Bae Bridges, who played Jordan’s daughter Jasmine in the movie.

So what has she been up to since starring alongside the G.O.A.T. in Space Jam? She did continue to do a little acting, appearing on shows such as Half & Half and Boy Meets World, but acting eventually became less of a priority.

“I kind of got to the point where I was missing a lot of school, and I couldn’t participate in sports,” Bridges told The Huffington Post. “And I guess I just wanted to feel like I was a normal teenager, so I played volleyball. I was second team all-state.”

Now Bridges is 25-years-old, is an artist, a musician, works as a hairstylist at a salon and has a 6-year-old son.

As for whether she’d ever be interested in getting back into acting, especially should Space Jam 2 actually happen…

“I would definitely be interested in coming back,” said Bridges. “I haven’t heard anything, but I would be a little sad if I wasn’t cast at least somewhere.”

But what if LeBron James, rumored to be the choice to take over the Jordan role, were in the film?

“I think it would be interesting. I know basketball fans have their rivalries and opinions on LeBron, but I think it would be awesome. I think it would be a good movie to do. Hey, maybe I can play his girlfriend.”

I think I would pay to see that.
