A word to the wise, don’t get into a mace fight with the police. You’re not going to win. While you’re using your tiny spritzer that has a spray radius of 18-inches, the cops have a super soaker that can incinerate your eyes from 12-feet away. If only Quivonna Bonner had known this pertinent information before she started a mace fight with the Columbus Police.
Reportedly, Miss Bonner got into a fight with her girlfriend early Wednesday morning and police were called. The Ohio woman was arrested, handcuffed, and put into the back of a police cruiser.
Bonner, who was said to be intoxicated at the time, slipped out of her handcuffs and her dress. She grabbed her own can of mace from her dress and began spraying officers. At first, she only sprayed herself because the windows were up. Police warned Quivonna to stop and waited 10 minutes before they opened the window and started spraying back. That’s when the mace fight was over.
The topless woman brought consumer mace to a police mace fight and got outsprayed.
Police found marijuana on the woman and she faces charges of felonious assault on an officer. Bonner was on probation for a 2015 theft conviction. The judge set bond Thursday at $20,000.
The Columbus Police might want to search people they arrest next time. And if they did search her, where was she hiding that can of mace? 🤔
