Bradley Cooper goes back to the 1970s and you’re invited. One under-the-radar flick that I’m looking forward to this winter is David O. Russell’s American Hustle, which dramatizes one of the craziest political scandals in American history. The ABSCAM affair was an FBI investigation that started out investigating the sale of stolen property and grew into a huge bribe scandal that brought down a United States Senator and six members of the House of Representatives. Looks like potentially another Argo. American Hustle stars Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams, Christian Bale and Louis C.K. and opens on December 25th.
