This is 24-year-old legal assistant Victoria. She’s a contestant on The Bachelor this year. Last night, Victoria confused the “Heimlich maneuver” with the “hymen maneuver.” Victoria did not get a rose.

The Heimlich maneuver is a real medical term, used to save someone’s life. The hymen maneuver is a reality show term, used to save someone’s virginity. One involves thrusting on a person’s abdomen, the other involves thrusting on a vagina.
Sure the hymen maneuver sounds really cool and I’m sure we’ll have an Urban Dictionary definition by the end of the day. But for now, let’s leave the hymen intact.
