Roger Goodell does a lot of dumb things, the Saints debacle chief among them. But of the major sports commissioners, he’s definitely the most hip as evidenced by this handshake from the 2012 NFL Draft.
Two things of note here:
1) Melvin Ingram, the man on the receiving end of that handshake, went on to have a disappointing rookie season and at times, didn’t look like he belonged on the field. That handshake doomed him.
2) That is, by far, the greatest moment in white men trying to act hip since 8 Mile.
