Claws out, ready to cut up some ninjas. Hugh Jackman now holds the record for the actor who has played the same superhero in the most movies, with six X-Men films and spin-offs under his belt. This latest one has a bit of a pedigree, with a script by Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects). It was also originally scheduled to be directed by Darren Aronofsky, which would have been quite a thing. James Mangold (Walk The Line) ended up getting the job, and Entertainment Weekly just gave us a set of new shots. They picture the metal-boned hero walking the streets of Japan, hanging out in pachinko parlors, and facing a hot assassin (Rila Fukushima) in a very tight dress. The Wolverine opens on July 26th.
