Lays Canada might make ‘Maple Moose’ chips

Cheesy Garlic Bread won the Lays’ “Do Us a Flavor” contest in a supersonic upset special. Can Maple Moose do the same thing in the Lays Canada’s “Do us a Flavour” contest?

That’s a real entry, by the way, I didn’t make that up. How very Canada. Martin Short assures me that the chips are not made with real bits of moose though, which is unfortunate because I ate moose the only time I’ve been in Sweden, and it’s delicious. Instead, these are just maple flavored chips with a super Canadian name. They might as well have called them syrup chips.

The other challengers are Creamy Garlic Caesar, Grilled Cheese & Ketchup, and Perogy Platter. After Sriracha lost in the US iteration, I’m hesitant to pretend I understand people’s tastes. If I had to put money on it though, I’m riding Grilled Cheese & Ketchup. They sounds terrible, for the record.
