“I’m a good guy and if you gave me a chance you would see that. When UR ready to check out the Heartbreak Hotel just text me.” That’s just one of many tweets Christopher Davidson sent to Olympic hurdler Lolo Jones during an eight month span.
Beginning in August of 2012 and up until last week, Davidson (who goes by the handle @cddavidson2012) sent Jones 160 tweets. Most are similar to what you see above. Asking, if not pleading for a date with her.
On April 4th, he sent her 21 tweets. At one point he alludes to Jones calling him a “stalker.”

Jones finally succumbed to the pressure the next day and retweeted him, albeit mockingly.

Though he occasionally mentions others, Davidson’s main goal on Twitter is courting Jones. He often sends her the same tweets over and over begging for a response. Perhaps he knows she’s tuned him out or perhaps he’s an extremely patient man. I don’t know.
What I do know for certain is that his Twitter history’s chock-full of creepy stuff. Reading it may give you a migraine. It may also give you a brief taste of what celebs encounter everyday on social media.
