Newcastle really knows how to market their Bombshell

Newcastle’s “No Bollocks” campaign is one of my favorites, but sometimes I wonder what’s going through their heads. This ad for the limited edition Newcastle Bombshell pale blonde ale is counter-programming to all beer commercials featuring awesome parties you’ll see this summer. While I question the idea in jest, it’s brilliant. It’s quick, simple, and memorable. It really hammered home the point that this isn’t the brown ale to which you’re accustomed, too. Sex may sell, but comedy makes the world go ’round. Actually, I guess sex does that too.
