Notre Dame football team dismisses four players for academic fraud — REPORT

The Golden Dome is looking tarnished today.

The story is changing than faster than Manti Teo’s relationship status (still beating that dead horse) but both Fox Sports and Yahoo! Sports are reporting that the University of Notre Dame has dismissed four football players have been dismissed from the team and the school amid rumors of a cheating scandal.

According to Yahoo’s Pat Forde, four football players — as well as regular students — were under investigation for academic fraud. KeiVarae Russell, Ishaq Williams, Kendall Moore and DaVaris Daniels – who were not seen on the field as practice was ending Friday — are the four suspected student athletes.

Forde also reported the possibility that the school “could wind up vacating victories from the 2012 season, during which the Irish went 12-1 and lost the BCS National Championship Game.”

Now, as far as “unofficial and purely speculative information”, a commentor on Reddit is claiming that a female student was writing papers for the four players “in exchange for a penising.”

Stay tuned for more as it breaks and just in case Pat Forde says the word “penising.”
