Ryan Raburn made one bad play. It’s going to haunt him forever.
During last night game against division rival Kansas City, Raburn booted what looked to be an easy sliding catch. To add insult to WTF, Raburn pops up to deliver a throw to the cut off man that would make even a Little League scrub chuckle.
Ten earthworms will killed on that throw. The touchdown spike in the bottom of the eighth lead to the first run of the game for either team. The Royals ended up winning the game 2-1 and are now a half a game up on the Indians in the standings, though both teams still trail the first place Tigers by a large chunk.
The crazy part — this isn’t the first time a Raburn miscue has lead to an odd homerun. Remember this gem?
