“City Of Bones” is my nickname for my bedroom because that’s where I get my bone on. After the success of The Hunger Games, Hollywood went young adult novel wild, snapping up the rights to pretty much any series they could get their hands on. The next challenger to the throne is The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones, based on Cassandra Clare’s six-volume series. In the story, a young teenager discovers that she’s a half-angel warrior placed on Earth to beat the crap out of demons, vampires, werewolves – basically just Buffy The Vampire Slayer, then? The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones opens in theaters on August 23rd.
