The new creeper from Saw director James Wan is allegedly based on a true story, because that’s what horror movies are based on nowadays when they’re not based on older horror movies. It’s about a family who moves into a pretty cool old farmhouse to discover that there are already some supernatural occupants and they don’t want company. A paranormal investigator couple are called in to bust the ghosts and things just go horribly wrong from there. Starring Vera Farmiga, Ron Livingston and Lili Taylor, The Conjuring opens in theaters on July 19th.
