Going in to watching this video I admittedly didn’t know jack about nearly anything pertaining to open-bolt submachine guns.
Thankfully for me there exists hickok45 on YouTube, everyone’s favorite Southern grandpa who wants nothing more than to pass on his knowledge of guns.
So here we are, now if I’m ever in a situation where I’m firing an open-bolt submachine gun and I have a round in the chamber from malfunctioned, I know how to get out of there without shooting my buddy in the leg. He is pretty damn longwinded in his explanation, but he gets there, and we get some money shots along the way:
