Here is some good news, if you are not a terrorist, that is.
You aren’t a terrorist, right? Because you shouldn’t be reading BroBible if you are. Terrorism Weekly, certainly, but not BroBible. Killing civilians ain’t Bro.
Which is what this United States attack on a terrorist training camp achieved today. Not a single civilian casualty, and a lot of terrorists blown up, possibly while reading Terrorism Weekly on the john.
A combination of manned and unmanned U.S. aircraft bombed the dick out of an al-Shabab training camp in Somalia, 120 miles north of the capital of Mogadishu. One hundred and fifty terrorists were killed, which is a lot.
“The removal of these fighters degrades al-Shabab’s ability to meet the group’s objectives in Somalia, including recruiting new members, establishing bases, and planning attacks on U.S. … forces,” said Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook.
The strike occurred after weeks of surveillance of the camp, and what officials called an “imminent threat.”
Word up.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with your terror organizations, al-Shabab was responsible for the failed bombing of a commercial airline that only killed the terrorist. So it couldn’t have been that serious a threat, am I right?
