The shit-talking between CNN and President Donald J. Trump has been going on for a long time now, but on Friday night it actually regressed to discussing the feces of the POTUS.
During a segment on CNN’s AC360, Anderson Cooper verbally sparred with political commentator Jeffrey Lord, who is a supporter of President Trump. During a debate about the investigation of possible interference in the 2016 election by the Russian government, Cooper got a bit scatty.
“If he (Trump) took a dump on his desk, you would defend it,” Cooper told Lord. “I don’t know what he would do that you would not defend.”
Anderson Pooper, errr Cooper later apologized both on-air and on Twitter:
“I regret the crude sentence I spoke earlier tonight and followed it up by apologizing on air,” the CNN host tweeted. “It was unprofessional. I am genuinely sorry.”
