This Australian Man Who Made A Majestic AF Christmas Tree Made Of Beer Cans Is A Goddamn Hero

This unbelievable and awe-inspiring Christmas tree took a lot of hard work. A lot of hard work and a whole lotta drinking beer. Over the span of 14 months, Wes Boyd created this glorious Christmas tree composed of 2,536 beer cans. The 14-foot Christmas tree is not only a feat of human ingenuity and impressive beer drinking, it also contributes to a fantastic cause.

Boyd, who is deaf, constructed the tree entirely of cans of Victoria Bitter.

“Me and some mates love drinking VBs, and two to three mates have been bringing empty cans over here every week for the past 14 months,” the father-of-four said.

“I wanted to build it to make people happy,” Boyd told PerthNow. He certainly made the holidays even happier with his monumental tree.

The delicious tree is also helping to raise money for charity Alzheimer’s Australia, with Boyd collecting donations for the cause every night in December. Both Boyd’s mother and grandmother were affected by the disease before they died.
