Zombie Burger and Drink lab in Des Moines, Iowa is home to some pretty zanny burger creations. For example, there’s the THE BAVA: Mozzarella, bruschetta, pesto mayo, Parmesan crisp + balsamic glaze. MMMMMMMM. And the THE CRAB RANGHOUL: Crab rangoon patty, fried wonton strips + sweet chili sauce. And the KRAMPUS: Pepperjack cheese, goat chorizo, bacon, chipotle mayo, fried onion strings + red chile sauce. And the TOXIC AVENGER: American cheese, roasted green chiles, caramelized onion, bacon + chipotle mayo. I want all of them in my face right now.
But there’s no burger I want more than this week’s Zombie burger creation, THE FREAKSHOW. The monster burger is honor of the season finale of American Horror Story #Freakshow this evening. It features open-face BBQ spice funnel cake bun, corn dog fried bacon, battered cheese curds, cheddar cheese + buttered popcorn flavored nacho cheese sauce. I had a heart-attack typing that out.
Road trip to Iowa, anyone? I must stuff this in my face at least once in my life or else I can never die a truly satisfied man.
