Filmmaker Casey Neistat Goes Snowboarding With The NYPD During The Blizzard In Epic Video

New York City was paralyzed on Saturday after the Jonas blizzard dropped 26.8 inches of snow on the city. The city that never sleeps had a travel ban imposed, which made it nearly a ghost town. However, filmmaker Casey Neistat thought the conditions were perfect to do some skiing and snowboarding on the snowy and vacant roads of NYC.

Set to the Frank Sinatra’s iconic “New York, New York,” Neistat skis through the snow-covered streets of the city as he’s being towed behind a Jeep Wrangler. The YouTube sensation even braved being possibly arrested by skiing in Times Square and getting an epic photo.

All the fun seemed to come to an abrupt end when NYPD flashed their lights and siren on their vehicle, but they too realized how awesome Casey’s adventure was. After being stopped by the officers they told the driver of the Jeep, “Someone complained about you, so we’re just going to act like we’re talking to you, alright?” Way to go NYPD!

Here’s the behind-the-scenes video.
