People Are Freaking Out Over This Picture Of A Fatal Motorcycle Crash That Appears To Show Spirit Leaving Man’s Body

A creepy photo taken at the scene of a fatal motorcycle accident in Kentucky is in the infancy stages of going viral today, as many believe the photo depicts a human-shaped spirit leaving the motorcyclists body.

According to NBC’s Lex18,

The crash occurred 5:30 Tuesday afternoon on Highway 15 near Stanton. Officials tell LEX 18 the person on the motorcycle was the only person involved and he was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Saul Vazquez, the man who took the photo, posted it on Facebook and said he took it from the cab of his truck. It has since been shared over 16,000 times in just 10 hours.

Lots of people are drawing their own conclusions about the photo, but either way it’s causing a huge conversation on social media. LEX 18 reached out to Vazquez, all he would he would say is that the photo has not been altered.

The man was reportedly rushed to the hospital where he died from his injuries. This obviously doesn’t help the case that the body-like figure pictured above is a soul, unless the dude was still breathing after his soul had already peaced out.

The post sparked a wide array of comments. Some truly believed that something supernatural was in play here…

There are no unpleasant photos here. Looks to me like a loved one was there to lift him up. I would think this picture should hopefully be a blessing.

I cropped it and ran it through some filters. Definitely looks like something is there. Doesn’t look like foliage to me.

Someone came for him. I believe this. As a nurse for many years, and witnessing many deaths, some of us are welcomed home by loved ones who have gone on before us. I, myself, am counting on this. To see the face of my beautiful young son who lost his life so tragically years ago. What a reunion that will be!

Others were a bit more…skeptical:

This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen, it’s part of the picture being washed out, which is why it’s mostly green, as everything surrounding it is. People are such infantile retards.

I’m really trying to get on board with the spirit truthers, because that means there’s a heaven and I have a slither of a chance of getting in even though I’m a categorically shitty human. Even though everything in me is screaming “BULLSHIT!”, it’s better to be safe than sorry.

God, if you’re reading this: I’m sorry for skipping Church the past 15 years, I’ve been a bit busy making poor decisions. Please forgive me for keeping the money I collected for UNICEF on Halloween back in 1998. I needed the money for snacks. I will be better if you let me into the pearly gates.

P.S. Is there an open bar up there? Hit me up.
