If you’re not familiar with Fire Island it’s a barrier island off of the Southern Coast of Long Island which acts as a buffer between Long Island and the Atlantic Ocean. It’s only about 10 square miles large (just under that) but during the Summer Fire Island turns into one of the most popular beach destinations for people escaping NYC and looking to party.
For reasons unknown, in recent days the island’s resident artists have adopted Melania Trump (wife of Republican Party Candidate for President, Donald Trump) as their poster child and have begun plastering these ‘Make Melania Lesbian Again’ posters around the island. The racy posters around Fire Island feature that now infamous photograph unearthed by the New York Post in which she’s locked in a sexual embrace with another woman:
Melania Trump has become a poster girl in Fire Island, pictured on a flyer posing provocatively in the nude with another woman, with the words, “Make Melania Lesbian Again.”
Modeling photos shot by French photographer Jarl Alé de Basseville, unearthed by The Post earlier this month, show the potential next first lady, then age 25, being embraced on a bed by Scandinavian model Emma Eriksson.
The flyer, as well as T-shirts with the same message — a riff on Donald’s “Make America Great Again” campaign slogan — plus the New York Post logo are popping up in Fire Island, a popular LGBT haunt.
