As every one is probably well aware by now, Sean Penn is in a little bit of hot water for conducting an interview with JoaquÍn “El Chapo” Guzmán Loera for Rolling Stone while he was on the run.
El Chapo ended up being captured as a result of that interview and the fact that he was reportedly contacting Hollywood producers to discuss making a movie about his life. (The whole story can be read here.)
As for El Chapo’s interview with Sean Penn, it was allegedly set up in part by a sexy Mexican actress named Kate del Castillo.
Turns out that the Mexican government wasn’t a big fan of her assistance in the matter…

On Wednesday Kate del Castillo took to Twitter to briefly discuss these reports that she claims “aren’t truthful.”

Sean Penn for his part has said that he has nothing to hide. So what sorts of things will she tell us when she does share her story with us? Only time will tell I guess.
