Kevin Durant recently made headlines for irritating Steph Curry by undermining Under Armour, a brand that Steph Curry has been single-handedly carrying the torch for in the basketball sector. During an interview with Bill Simmons for his The Ringer podcast, the Nike pitchman was talking about the importance of branding in college recruiting when he said “Nobody wants to play in Under Armours, I’m sorry. Like, the top kids because they all play Nike.” Durant’s comments caused his teammate’s brand to tumble 2.8 percent and prompted Curry to release a statement saying his teammate was “wrong.”

In any event, Durant is bound to ruffle more feathers in the shoe realm with his newly released KD 10 sneakers. On the surface, the shoes are beautiful, but at a closer look, they’re petty AF. KD lists his success from the NBA Finals on top of the negative things people have said about him over the last year on the shoe’s insole.

Shoe price: $150.

This is pretty true to form for KD, who has made a habit of battling with Twitter trolls about his legacy and even taking a shot at Russell Westbrook calling him a ‘cupcake’ by releasing the KDX Red Velvets…

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
