Point And Laugh At Our Possible Next President Falling On His Ass
The field is very deep and completely wide open in the extremely early race for the 2016 Presidential election. Just in the Republican Party alone you have former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, U.S. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and neurosurgeon Ben Carson that have all formed political action committees. PACs allow these candidates to hire staff and begin raising money for a presidential bid. This is the first steps in seeking a nomination.
To capture the GOP nomination candidates will really need to run a stand-up campaign where they don’t make any blunders and fall on their face. Unfortunately for Christie, his candidacy is already fumbling.
Christie made an in-studio appearance at SportsRadio 94WIP in Philadelphia last June during Wing Bowl 23. However it didn’t go well.
In the never before publicly-seen footage it shows Christie falling off his chair when he attempts to sit down. In Christie’s defense, he got lap-band surgery and lost 100-pounds recently. I’m sure he didn’t realize his slimmed down derriere wasn’t as rotund as usual making the chair farther away than he anticipated.
Angelo Cataldi of the 94WIP Morning Show captured the embarrassing footage, but showed reverence to the Governor and did not release the video. However Cataldi, who lives in New Jersey, was “appalled” by Christie’s decision to cheer for the Dallas Cowboys in owner Jerry Jones’ box during the team’s playoff run.
Not only did the radio deejay get his revenge on the politician by releasing the video on Friday morning, but during Wing Bowl 23 he had a Chris Christie look-a-like at the Wells Fargo Center with a Jerry Jones impersonator, both were greeted by a chorus of boos.
Christie’s 2016 Presidential run is off to a shaky start.
