Tested wanted to make sure everyone at 2016 Comic Con got a little creeped out. Mission accomplished.
Their latest project with Frank Ippolito “lives at the intersection of creepy and amazing”, they explained, as the designer created, sculpted and painted a LEGO-inspired mask made to look like a real-life version of a minifig. They dubbed it the “Creeppyfig” and unleashed on the crowd in California.
Honestly, it’s not the face so much as the hands are incredibly creepy. I’m going to fall asleep thinking of those nubs coming at my throat. I’m not sleeping tonight. I better take seven naps today instead.
