Mario Kart IRL With Incredible Flash Mob Race At Shopping Mall

Let’s-a-go!

YouTube channel Base37 know how to do a goddamn flash mob. The old school gaming enthusiasts invaded London’s Westfield Shopping Mall with this tremendous Mario Kart race IRL. Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Bowser all hopped on their motorized mini go-carts and sped around the mall throwing banana peels and avoiding mall cops. The only rules were don’t hit anyone and don’t get caught.

“It was just a little bit of fun,” members of the group told The Standard.

“You can’t go wrong with Mario Kart,” one racer said.

“A lot people were just looking in disbelief and some high-fived us.” The shoppers seemed to welcome the Mario Kart race IRL, “A lot of people are saying the wish they could do it because they grew up with the game on Nintendo 64.”

So did they get caught? “We didn’t have any real issue with security – they didn’t really have much time to react.”

Bingo! Bye-bye!
