Aussie Bloke Has The Most Australian Reaction Ever To Great White Shark Encounter

I haven’t been fortunate enough to come face-to-face with a great white sharkyet. One of these days I’ll find my chance to go cage diving in South Africa, Baja, or Australia, or I’ll be lucky enough to spot one off of Cape Cod. Until then, I will have to live vicariously through amazing videos like this one.

This Aussie bloke just wanted this white shark to piss off, only he used slightly more colorful language than that. The great white founds its teeth entangled in the fisherman’s net and the Aussie bro was trying to get the shark the fuck out of there so he could get back to business. The exchange is short, but it’s the most Aussie reaction to seeing a great white shark that I’ve ever witnessed. I highly suggest watching this several times:

According to BuzzFeed Australia, this video was actually filmed about a year ago but the Aussie bro only just got around to uploading it to Instagram a few days ago. It was filmed off of Port Pirie, Australia when Nicholas Wilks went out fishing with his dad.

The shark showed up to poach fish from the father and son’s fishing net, and was picking out fish left and right before it got its teeth stuck in the net and the resulting encounter ensued. Nic told BuzzFeed Australia that this was the first time in 30 years of fishing like that anything close to this happened.
