Last week a member of Anonymous in a Guy Fawkes mask threatened a “total war” against Republican Presidential candidate Donald J. Trump. Then, a day later, Anonymous “leaked” information about the Presidential candidate from their so-called Operation White Rose, even though the information was already public. At that point, the Secret Service and FBI said they were investigating the hacktivist group.
So what does this all mean? We’re not sure yet. But here are five of Anonymous’s most successful operations, including the time they went after digital sleaze bags and the Church of Scientology.
