If you happen to own a 2015 Nissan Tsuru then the results of this crash test are going to be rather startling. I’m not familiar with the various types of car crash tests out there in the world but I’d assume that a head-to-head crash of two fully functional vehicles isn’t the norm, so in addition to seeing two cars totally demolished we get to see a unique type of test going on here.
So, why’d they choose these specific cars to test? Well, the 2015 Nissan Tsuru is the least expensive model sold in Mexico and the 2016 Nissan Versa is the least expensive model sold in the United States. And even though they’re not the same year these cars are only one year apart, which isn’t much time at all in the world of cars.
Now, as for the results, it’s GREAT news if you’re the owner of a 2016 Nissan Versa and pretty awful news if you happen to hold the keys to a 2015 Nissan Tsuru. That Tsuru got absolutely WRECKED compared to the Versa, which has me a bit rattled about ever getting in another taxi while traveling in Mexico because they’re always these tiny ass cheap cars and we all just saw what happened!
