McDonald’s is finally going to allow customers to order and pay for Big Macs by simply using their phones.

The fast food giant hopes to be even faster and more accurate by eliminating someone mishearing you on the drive-thru speaker and then getting rid of paying while in line. Plus it will cut down on wait times for customers. Hopefully, your fries are cold and soggy AF because you ordered in advance.

McDonald’s hopes to launch their mobile order-and-pay technology next year in the U.S. and international lead markets, which include Australia, Canada, U.K., and France. By 2018, it will be available at 20,000 to 25,000 restaurants worldwide.

Mobile ordering has been a massive success for companies like Starbucks, Domino’s, Dunkin Donuts, Chipotle, Taco Bell, and Chick-fil-A.

Customers will use the McDonald’s app to order and pay. Then when they arrive to pick up their food, the restaurant will be notified of their arrival by geo-location services on their phones.

Now if we could only have McDonald’s delivered it would finally help those who are perpetually lazy, drunk and/or high.
