“This incredible response is the last thing we expected when we posted the advert,” UKPaintball owner Justin Toohig told Sky News when asked about the absurd response to their ad for a paintball “bullet tester.” “We couldn’t have predicted that so many people in the UK and beyond would want to get shot for a living.”
Over 10,000 people applied to get shot at for a salary.

So what kind of people are applying to be a moving target for £40,000 ($60K American) a year?
Mr Toohig said applicants have cited numerous reasons for taking them on, including one who said he was fat and would therefore be easier to hit.
Another claimed to be an “ex-magician’s assistant who was once almost shot for real in an illusion that went horribly wrong”.
It doesn’t have as many perks as personal blunt roller but it wouldn’t hurt to try it. I mean it WOULD hurt to actually try it but it wouldn’t hurt to apply. Sadly, UK Paintball is no longer taking applications.
