Pig Poops On Plane

Twitter VIA CBS 3

We all have tragic tales of terrible Thanksgiving travel, but probably none of our problems were as shitty as the ones passengers had on a U.S. Airways flight from Boston to Washington, D.C. this past Wednesday.

That’s because their trip involved literal shit. Pig shit, to be precise. A woman travelling with her emotional support pig (which is a thing!), caused quite a …shit storm before takeoff.

Passenger Rob Phelps … told CBS 3 that because the pig was squealing and had defecated in the aisle, flight attendants asked its owner to remove herself and the animal from the flight.

Phelps said the owner understood and left without any issues before takeoff.

Well, that’s good. Except I can’t imagine the stench is easily removed. Jonathon Snolnik, who was seated next to the pig for the short time it was on the flight, had some serious insight on the situation.

“… it turns out it wasn’t a duffel bag. We could smell it and it was a pig on a leash.”

That’s analysis.

Apparently, this is perfectly legal, so long as your pig has papers, and it doesn’t take dumps everywhere.

Here are the pig and her owner, in happier times.
