Here Are The 10 Stupidest Interview Questions People Have Been Asked In Job Interviews In 2015

It’s hard to really prepare for a job interview. You can practice all of the routine answers and devise ways of diverting the conversation in case of emergency but you can’t be 100% ready because an interviewer can, and will, throw hundreds of dumb questions your way.

Literally, hundreds.

Glassdoor.com, a database for job seekers and job listers, compiled a list of the stupidest interview questions prospective job seekers have been asked so far in 2015. Here are the ten dumbest users of Glassdoor have submitted so far, and the companies who’re asking this dumb questions.

“What would you do if you were the one survivor in a plane crash?”– Asked at Airbnb

“What’s your favorite 90s jam?” – Asked at Squarespace

“If you woke up and had 2,000 unread emails and could only answer 300 of them how would you choose which ones to answer?” — Asked at Dropbox

“Who would win in a fight between Spiderman and Batman?” – Asked at Stanford University

“If you had a machine that produced $100 dollars for life what would you be willing to pay for it today?” – Asked at Aksia

“What did you have for breakfast?” – Asked at Banana Republic

“Describe the color yellow to somebody who’s blind.” – Asked at Spirit Airlines

“If you were asked to unload a 747 full of jelly beans, what would you do?”— Asked at Bose

“How many people flew out of Chicago last year?” – Asked at Redbox

“What’s your favorite Disney Princess?” – Asked at Cold Stone Creamery

Now, I’m sure they’ll give scientific and researched reasons why these questions are important and what the answers say about a person, but it also explains why the people at Banana Republic are so self absorbed and why the people at Cold Stone Creamery all act like they’ve snorted a bulk of the powdered sugar supply.
