For those of you who haven’t seen The Wizard of Oz since you were 12 (myself included although I have the memory of an elephant), the cast of that movie is white. Completely white. And so now that The Wiz had its time to air last night on television, all the idiots who 1. Don’t realize The Wiz is a musical from the 70’s that originally starred an all-black cast, including talent like Michael Jackson and Diana Ross and 2. Don’t realize that The Wizard of Oz is a 100% white cast, are on Twitter complaining.
Case in point:
