The Rock Wore A Mascot Costume To Surprise Fans, Almost Gives Guy A Heart Attack

The Rock Surprises Fan

Fallon

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson wasn’t at Wrestlemania 33 on Sunday night, but he was in Orlando last night to appear on Fallon. Jimmy Fallon’s new Tonight Show ride officially opened for business this morning at a ribbon cutting ceremony at Universal Studios, and Jimmy’s been hosting his show all week from Orlando while leading up to today’s big opening.

Before The Rock appeared on Fallon last night and discussed the time he nearly broke the world record for ‘longest golf drive’ (video below), he and Jimmy walked around the park wearing mascot costumes of themselves and surprised unsuspecting fans. One fan just so happened to be the ‘world’s biggest fan of The Rock’ and said that Dwayne Johnson was his lifelong hero right before The Rock pulled off his mask and surprised the guy.

Did he have an actual heart attack? No. Well, maybe he had a minor attack. At the very least, The Rock just shaved a year off that man’s life by giving him the biggest surprise of his life.

Later in the day, Dwayne Johnson discussed his claim that he nearly broke the world driving record of 515 yards, a claim that a ton of golfers have called ‘BULLSHIT’ on. Dwayne says he drove the ball 490 yards shortly after he first learned to swing a club. Here’s what he has to say about that:

His explanation? ‘What happens in Vegas…’….’It looked like it went 490 yards’…Yeah, that shit did not go 490 yards.
