I’d like to start this off by saying that the game developer of the upcoming Game of Thrones video game, Telltale, has not confirmed that these are images from the game that they’re developing. Technically we can’t be sure that they’re real…but they probably are. What else would they be for?
Telltale recently revealed that the game will tell the story of House Forrester. “The events in our game series begin towards the end of Season Three of the TV show, and end right before the beginning of Season Five,” Telltale said. “You will visit familiar locations such as King’s Landing and The Wall, as well as unfamiliar locations such as Ironrath, the home of House Forrester…”
The first episode–of six total episodes in the first season–is called Iron From Ice. This episode is due to launch by the end of the year, and it will be available digitally acrossPC/Mac, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and iOS. Additional platforms will be announced later, Telltale said.
The images from the game don’t show much (if any) action, but we get to see that a slew of our favorite characters will be making appearances.
Oh and here’s a teaser trailer that Telltale released. Nothing exciting happens in it.
