Casey Jenkins is an “artist.” The type of artist who uses her vag to knit. Yeah, that type of artist.
A couple of years ago, Jenkins spent 28 days sitting half-naked on a box with a ball of yarn stuck up her vagina and knitted the world’s worst birthday gift. A clip of her performance was uploaded to YouTube, titled “Vaginal Knitting”, and grabbed more than 6 million views in twenty-four months. Most of the comments directed at Jenkins and her craft were less than civil.
So she’s back again, to fan the flames and shake awake the trolls, and promises to do something even more disgusting this time around.
Now, the 36-year-old Carlton artist plans to program a digital knitting machine, purchased on eBay, to knit some of the most common comments made about her vaginal yarn.
And, she intends to use wool that has been soaked in her menstrual blood.
