Damn, that’s a beautiful creature right there. Apparently, June 20th is National American Bald Eagle Day? Whatever, you won’t find anyone complaining about that around these parts.
The day’s aim is to raise awareness for the American Bald Eagle, and is meant to encourage participants to adopt a bald eagle (SERIOUSLY? HOW THE FUCK CAN I DO THIS!!!?), assist in the recovery of their natural environments, and to take part in educational outreach.
No reason this shouldn’t be a national holiday and a day off from school in coming years when it doesn’t occur on a weekend. Cue the U-S-A chants!
