California has been in a drought that has lasted the entire summer, causing them to ration water usage while dealing with wildfires that occur every so often.
With more wildfires hitting the northern part of the state this weekend in Lake County up near Sacramento—where flames spread over a 50-acre radius, causing a hell on earth scene—things have gotten to be insanely dangerous.
One resident, who was making the drive out from his house situated near the end of a street hit by the flames, filmed his escape, which will absolutely make you wish that this were just an action movie and not real life.
Old dude got out OK, but, damn, with fire blazing and ash flying all around him, he’s lucky to have lived to tell about it.
