Woman Claims She Was Fired From Her Job After Only Working There For 5 Minutes Because She Was ‘Too Good Looking’

Guys, this is Emma Hulse.

Emma, who says she is a camera operator, landed a freelance gig as a runner with a production company. She started her new job, but then five minutes into her new position Emma said that she was fired.

The 24-year-old said she was only five minutes into her eight-hour shift when her brand new boss told her to leave.

“We were supposed to finish at 6 pm and I got there for 9:30 am and when I got there this other runner started explaining to me what I should do,” Hulse told the Evening Standard.

Emma said that her manager at the TV company told her, “Are you a model? Are you not doing catwalks, why are you not at the front of house?”

“Then he took my number, he suggested we go for a drink,” Emma alleges.

“Then they send me on a run,” Emma said. “Then my agent text me that I’m no longer required.”

Emma claims that she was fired for being “too good looking.” Her narcissistic words, not the employer’s.

“Maybe that company employs plain looking people and maybe if you don’t look that way they don’t take you, maybe I was a distraction,” said the narcissistic Hulse.

The company has since said the manager allegedly involved in the incident has been fired.

“We found there were a number of things we were not happy with,” said Adam Luckwell, owner of the company. “We decided not to continue with the employment and terminated the contract within three months. We felt he was a bad fit for us and some of the things he was doing was not in line with the company’s policy.”

“I was wearing a lipstick but from my perspective I was not inappropriate,” said Emma. “I was wearing a shirt and trousers. I really didn’t think I looked inappropriate.”

Can you really be fired for being a 7?
